Food safety

I attained the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering in May 2011, after following an examined course delivered by Highfield Training.
This course covered the risks involved in the storage and handling of all types of food, avoidance of cross contamination and safe methods to follow when preparing food. 
Although baking and decorating cakes is deemed to be a low risk activity by the Environmental Health, you can be assured that your cakes are made in a clean, safe and hygienic environment using procedures that ensure all foods are stored appropriately and prepared in a manner that avoids cross contamination.
